Video Post: Should My Character Be Just Like Me?

Week two of my weekly Friday vlog feature! Today I’m talking about whether or not authors should create characters that are auto-biographical. When is it okay to be just like your main character, and when is it important to be different?

I think that You should wright about your sister And your self. And if there is an adult in the book then I think you should wright about an adult that influences your daily life… I think you should add others into your books… It would make them feel important and make them feel like they matter to!

Thanks, Victoria! Maybe I should just write YOU into a book, since you’re so amazingly cool. πŸ˜‰

Yeah, it was really funny! Every time I came to a Rachel/Allie scene I just grinned and thought, “Gosh, that’s SO Rachel!” Haha! πŸ™‚
